Applying tanning oil and getting the right amount of safe sun exposure may help you achieve a deeper tan faster. The SPF6, SPF 15 and SPF30 products help protect the skin by blocking UV rays, however they don’t completely block out 100% of UV rays, so the skin will still tan, just to a lesser extent compared to not wearing any sunscreen at all or applying sun product with a lower sun protection factor (SPF).

All Reef Sunscreens are suitable for use during pregnancy, as it is applied to the top of the skin. You may find that during pregnancy your skin responds differently to topical products, so we recommend when trying any new product for the first time, you perform a patch test by applying it on a small area of skin to determine its suitability for your skin type before applying it on a large area. However, if you are concerned, please consult your health professional.

Fake tanning products are lotions, creams, or sprays that simulate a suntan by dyeing the outer layer of skin. Fake tanning lotion does not improve your body’s ability to protect itself from the sun, so you will still need sun protection. Reef sunscreens, applied correctly can provide sun protection SPF 15- 50+.

A.

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. It is a measure of the level of protection against sunburn that sunscreen provides. The higher the SPF, the better the protection from ultraviolet radiation. The maximum SPF of sunscreens sold in Australia is 50+.

A.
